Cedar Ridge Academy’s co-ed residential treatment therapeutic boarding school is looking for professional therapists, educators and dorm staff.

Our co-ed residential treatment center was founded in 1996 in order to help students and their families. We provide a safe, supportive environment for our students while providing regular therapy and accredited academics to assist with credit recovery while complementing therapeutic goals.

We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Clinical

Therapist or Therapist Intern/Associate for Teens and Families:

Position available for a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or someone ready to Intern.  Will be working in a Therapeutic Boarding School with male and female students age 13-18.  Will also do assessments, treatment plans, case notes, and individual, group, and family therapy sessions.  Competitive salary and great benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, holidays, vacation, retirement, profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement.  Beautiful 100 acre campus is located near a great recreation area.

Qualifications: Therapist license or must have Master’s Degree and be ready to work hours required for full licensure.  Associates license must at least be in process.  Interns are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary: Depends on experience and status of license.

Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, Mental Health Specialist, LPC) to work with our clients. This is a full time position working in a small, private, therapeutic boarding school near Roosevelt, Utah. We are also a supervisory site for CSW, and MFT if you need an intern supervisor.

Therapist

Cedar Ridge, Inc. is currently reviewing resumes for (2) Therapist openings at our beautiful campus in Roosevelt, Utah. We are seeking either licensed therapists or associate licensed therapists working on their hours. Academic staff

As part of our academic team at Cedar Ridge RTC, teachers can look forward to working with 6-10 students on average per class. These positions require a Bachelor degree and certification in the subject area in which they apply to teach. Teaching candidates who are looking for a paid position for student teaching may also apply.

We are currently expanding our academic team.

Cedar Ridge RTC is seeking full-time educators with a secondary endorsement in English and Social Studies/History who is well rounded and has the ability to relate to teenagers.  We are a year-round, private, therapeutic boarding school near Roosevelt, utah.  We have worked with privately placed students aged thirteen to eighteen for eighteen years.  Teachers work with a student population of twenty to forty students in grades seven through twelve.  In addition to an excellent benefit package, our environment is quiet, safe, and supportive and our students are well-behaved and capable.  Salary is negotiable depending on level of education and experience.  Must have or be able to obtain a Utah State Teaching Endorsement.

Special Education Teacher

Residential

Our dorm staff work with our clinical and academic teams to complete our milieu, and help ensure that academic needs and therapeutic support service needs are met during our ‘other’ hours. Dorm staff are expected to model the behavior that we expect from our students. They are also encouraged to bring their insights and strengths into mentoring the students in daily living skills and in peer and adult relationships.

We currently are not looking for any residential team members


 

Admissions

Quality of fit between the students, family, and Cedar Ridge Academy is one of the most influential factors of success with our families. Admission Counselors work with educational consultants and families applying to Cedar Ridge Academy to ensure that the fit is appropriate for the academic support, and residential needs of the student. This position requires at least a Bachelor degree, along with one or more years of experience working with youth in a residential setting.

We are not currently expanding our admissions team.


 

Student Services

Our student services position works in support of the residential milieu by scheduling doctor appointments, managing student clothing supplies, managing student travel, managing medication dispensed on-campus, and other student needs. Our student services personnel are in close contact with parents to meet the needs of our students. For this position, we prefer a Bachelor degree and one or more years working with youth in a residential setting. Experience may be substituted for a degree.

We are not currently hiring for Student Services.

Therapeutic Boarding School just outside of Roosevelt, Utah is seeking a highly motivated positive role model who enjoys working with youth ages 12-18 years to be our Student Services Coordinator. This person will coordinate doctor appointments, pick up and distribute medications, furnish uniforms to new students and replacements as needed and maintain inventory, pick up and deliver students to the airport as needed, enter information on the computer, file, and other assignments as requested, etc. Must be detail oriented and organized. ;A beautiful campus and an uplifting work environment are part of a great benefit package. Starting pay is based on experience and education.  Must be able and willing to certify in CPR, First Aid, and Positive Control System.  Employer by law is drug free, alcohol free, tobacco free environment. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
