Our Students
Our students are boys and girls who are struggling to be themselves, often worrying you with some or all of the following: falling into negative peer influences, struggling to follow-through with responsibilities such as school, disrupting the home, engaging in risky behaviors, grieving a loss or trauma, arguing with or defying authority, and abusing substances.
Cedar Ridge Therapeutic Boarding School is most successful with youth who have any or all of the following issues:
- Anxiety
- Mild/ Moderate Depression/Mood Disorders
- Low Self-Esteem
- Poor Self-Discipline
- School Problems
- Learning Issues
- Relationship problems
- Emotional Immaturity
- Attention Deficit Disorder
- Childhood Trauma/Loss
- Defiant Behavior
- Substance Abuse
We DO NOT admit students who have any of the following:
- Conduct Disorder
- History of Sexual Aggression
- Eating Disorder
